South Africa
Home to some of the best safari lodges on the continent. The private reserves next to Kruger, like Sabi Sand, mean excellent wildlife sightings, open vehicles that can go off-road and a level of comfort that makes it a wonderful first safari.
Tanzania
From the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater to the white beaches of the Zanzibar archipelago. A few days on the coast, barefoot and with nothing planned, is the perfect way to end a safari.
Seychelles
Granite boulders, empty coves and some of the clearest water in the Indian Ocean. Many of the best hotels sit on their own private islands, so it is the place to go when you want to disappear for a while.
